Stephanie Cayo
She began her television career in Peru at the age of ten, appearing in commercials and debuting in the children's telenovela Travesuras del corazón (1998). She gained regional recognition at 16 as the lead in the series Besos robados (2004), an international co-production that helped project her image outside of her home country. After moving to Colombia to further her acting training, she starred in high-impact productions such as La marca del deseo (2007), Doña Bella (2010), and La Hipocondríaca (2013), successfully transitioning from youth roles to more dramatically complex leading parts.
Since 2015, her career has pivoted toward the global market and film. She was part of the main cast of the Netflix series Club de Cuervos (2015–2019), the platform's first Spanish-language original production, which granted her visibility throughout the continent. In film, she has starred in projects such as the Spanish comedy Yucatán (2018), the American action film Force of Nature (2020)—sharing the screen with Mel Gibson—and Without Saying Goodbye (2022), the first Peruvian feature film originally produced for Netflix. In addition to her acting work, she ventured into music with her debut album Llegaré (2011) and is the founder of the performing arts school Dance Studio in Lima.
